Chai Masala (Spice Blend)
Chai Masala is a blend of warming spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and pepper that elevates a simple cup of tea into the rich, comforting masala chai. Deeply rooted in Indian culture, it’s more than a drink—it’s a ritual and a symbol of connection and warmth.
How to make Chai using Indish Chai Masala (Spice Blend):
For making 1 cup (8oz) chai, take 1 part milk (of choice) and 2 parts water.
Add 1 teaspoon chai spice and a tea bag (black tea) of your choice. If you have the Chai masala which already has the tea leaves mixed, add 1.5-2 teaspoons of the mix.
Bring the mix to a boil and let simmer for 3-4 minutes till you can smell the tea and spice blends aroma.
Add sweetener of choice and strain the tea and spices.
Enjoy hot or make it iced!
